Tattoo Stencil Generator (“we”, “us”) runs the website tattoostencilgenerator.com and its tools. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions about these terms: [email protected].

The instant tools (converting to a stencil, printing, the instant lettering preview and the classic try-on) are free and need no account. The AI tools need an account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. To buy credits you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms.

You sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. Keep access to that account secure: you are responsible for what is done with it.

Each new account gets 3 free credits, once per person. Creating several accounts to collect free credits is not allowed, and we may remove credits or accounts made that way.

You can delete your account at any time on the Account page. Deleting it removes your saved AI pictures and your credit history, and any credits left are lost.

• One credit makes one AI picture, on any AI tool. Written idea lists use no credits, within a daily limit.
• If a run fails, times out or is declined by the AI’s safety filter, its credit is returned automatically.
• Credits do not expire while your account exists. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged.
• Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page.

Credit packs are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Waffo (waffo.ai). Waffo takes the payment, may add sales tax or VAT for your country, and emails you the receipt. Its own terms apply to the payment. We never see your card details.

Within 24 hours of a purchase, if none of the credits from that purchase have been used, you can ask for a full refund. Email [email protected] with the order number from your Waffo receipt. The refunded credits are removed from your account.

If something on our side went wrong, for example you were charged but received no credits, or the site took credits without giving you a picture, contact us at any time and we will put it right, by restoring the credits or refunding the payment.

Otherwise purchases are final: we do not refund credits that have been used, or because a result was not to your taste. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, the credits it bought are removed, and we may suspend the account.

You keep all the rights you have in the pictures and text you add. You promise that you have the right to use them in this way, and that doing so does not break anyone else’s rights or any law.

A tattoo is usually the copyright work of the artist who drew it. Wearing a tattoo does not by itself give you the right to copy it. Only copy a tattoo with Tattoo to Stencil if you designed it yourself or the artist has given you permission, for example to have it touched up or reworked.

Only upload photos of other people with their consent. Do not upload pictures of anyone under 18 to the try-on or cover-up tools.

You give us permission to process what you upload only to provide the tools to you: to send it to our AI provider, and to show the result to you. We do not publish your uploads or your results, and we do not show them to other users. See the privacy page for what is stored and for how long.

Pictures made with the AI tools are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including getting tattooed and tattooing clients. We claim no ownership of them.

AI results are generated automatically and may resemble existing works or results made for other people. We do not promise that a result is unique, that it can be protected by copyright (in many countries purely AI-made images cannot), or that it is free of other people’s rights. Checking that is your responsibility, especially for commercial use.

Do not use the site to:

• copy or adapt work you do not have the right to use, including other people’s tattoos, logos or artwork;
• create sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises a real person without consent, or content promoting hatred or violence;
• create anything illegal where you live or where we operate;
• get around the credit system, the daily limits or the safety filters, or automate requests to the site;
• copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the site or its tools.

The AI provider’s safety filter may decline some requests. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

If you believe something made with or shown on this site infringes your copyright, see the copyright page for how to tell us. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

Everything made here is a draft. Have a licensed tattoo artist check the design, size and placement before a session. Printed size depends on your printer and its settings. We are not responsible for a tattoo, its placement, its healing or its result.

We may change, add or remove tools and features, and change prices for future purchases. Credits you have already bought keep their value. We aim to keep the site running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If someone makes a claim against us because of what you uploaded or how you used the site in breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result, to the extent the law allows.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
