Content standards

Last updated October 14, 2026

What may not be made with our AI tools, how requests are checked, how to report content, and what we do when the rules are broken.

1. Where these rules apply

These rules apply to everything you put into the site and everything you make with it: the words you type, the pictures you upload, and the pictures and text the AI makes for you. They are part of our terms and apply to every account, including accounts that have bought credits.

2. Prohibited content

You may not use the site to make, upload or ask for the following.

1. Sexual and nude content (NSFW). Nudity, sexual acts, sexually explicit or pornographic imagery, and sexualised depictions of anyone, including in an artistic or tattoo style.

2. Violence and graphic gore. Realistic gore, mutilation or dismemberment; content that glorifies, promotes or threatens real-world violence, terrorism, self-harm or cruelty to animals. Traditional tattoo imagery such as skulls, daggers, snakes or a stylised drop of blood is allowed when it is not graphic or aimed at real people.

3. Hate and harassment. Symbols, slogans or imagery of hate groups, and content that attacks, demeans or threatens people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability or serious illness. Content made to harass or bully a person.

4. Child safety. Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers anyone under 18. This has no exceptions. Do not upload pictures of anyone under 18 to any tool. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the police, and close the account at once.

5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Realistic pictures of a real, identifiable person without their consent; uploading someone else’s photo to the try-on or cover-up tools without their consent; passing off an AI result as a real photo of a real person or event; or pretending to be another person, artist or brand.

6. Copyright and trademark infringement. Copying a tattoo, artwork, character, logo or brand you do not have the right to use. Tattoos are usually the copyright work of the artist who drew them: only copy one you designed or have the artist’s permission to copy. See the copyright page.

Content that is illegal where you live or where we operate is also prohibited, even if it is not listed above.

3. How requests are checked

Every AI request is checked before anything is made, and every result is checked before you see it:

  • 1. Our word list. The words in a request are checked against the categories above. A request that matches is refused straight away. We keep this list up to date.
  • 2. Prompt scan. Everything you type is then checked by the content safety service of Waffo, our payment provider, before it is sent to an AI model. Only requests it allows go ahead; a request it holds for review can be tried again later.
  • 3. The AI model’s own safety system. Our pictures are made by GPT Image 2.5 by OpenAI (tools that start from a picture) and Nano Banana 2.1 by Google (tools that start from words); idea lists are written by Gemini 2.5 Flash by Google. The models are run for us by fal.ai, and each declines prohibited requests itself.
  • 4. Result check. Every finished picture is checked by an image safety classifier, and every idea list by the prompt scan, before it is saved or shown. A result that fails is thrown away.
  • 5. Human review. Every refused request and result is logged with the decision. A person reviews the log and every report we receive, and records whether it was a violation.
  • Private by default. Uploads and results are visible only to the account that made them. There is no public gallery, feed or sharing page on the site, so nothing made here is published by us.

Whenever a request or result is refused, no credit is used.

No automatic check is perfect. Following these rules is your responsibility, whether or not a request gets through.

4. Reporting content

If you see or receive content made with this site that breaks these rules, or you believe someone is misusing the site, email [email protected] with the subject “Content report”. Include what you saw, where, and any link, account email or date that helps us find it. You do not need an account to report.

We reply within two working days, and sooner for anything involving a child. Copyright complaints follow the process on the copyright page.

5. What happens when the rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, we may:

  • refuse the request (no credit is used);
  • delete the content from the account;
  • warn the account holder by email;
  • suspend the account, or close it permanently;
  • report it to the police or the relevant authority where the law requires it or someone is at risk.

Credits on an account closed for breaking these rules are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Child sexual abuse material always leads to immediate closure and a report.

6. Appeals

If you think a request was refused or an account was acted on by mistake, email [email protected] and explain what happened. A person will look at it and reply within five working days.
